📜 Company Policy Statement
Feed Queens Farm Service – Farm Delivery, Hauling & Farm Care Services
At Feed Queens Farm Service, we pride ourselves on offering reliable, affordable, and respectful services to our local farmers and animal owners. Whether we’re delivering feed, providing hands-on farm care, or hauling livestock, everything we do is grounded in one simple principle: treat our customers like royalty—because that’s what our hardworking farmers and ranchers deserve.
🚚 How We Operate
We’re not like other delivery services. We don’t partner with stores, and we don’t jack up prices or hide service fees. Instead, we serve you, our customer, directly. By cutting out the middleman, we keep costs fair and straightforward. You buy the products; we handle the pickup and delivery. No extra markups, no hidden charges—just honest work and dependable service.
💰 Pricing for Services
-
Delivery Services:
Our delivery rates are flat and do not vary based on distance. Whether you're 5 miles away or 25 miles away, the rate will remain the same. We believe in keeping things simple and transparent. Rates are non-negotiable unless you have had prior discussions with the owner regarding special circumstances or bulk orders larger than the specified delivery size options. For any orders that exceed size selections, please contact us 24 hours in advance.
-
Animal Hauling Services:
For animal hauling, our pricing is based on the type of animal and the distance traveled. However, we are committed to providing fair pricing for every job. Should you require specific pricing details, feel free to reach out before booking, and we’ll be happy to provide an accurate quote.
-
Farm Services
-
Our flat rate for Farm Care is $50 per day for shorter periods of care and $25 per day for longer periods. This is non-negotiable.
🐮 Farm Care Services
We understand that farm care involves much more than just feeding animals—it’s about providing a healthy, comfortable environment for all your livestock and gardens while you enjoy your time away. Here’s what our farm care includes:
-
Feeding and Watering: We’ll ensure your animals are fed with the right amount of food and water, on schedule, as specified in your directions.
-
Health Checks: We’ll do a quick visual check of your animals for any signs of distress, illness, or injury. If something looks off, we’ll contact you immediately. We keep a vet bag on hand for immediate treatment of any injuries and we have a few vets on hand in the event one needs to be called in your absence! No animals will be treated without permission from the owner unless it is an absolute emergency situation and the owner cannot be contacted.
-
Gardening Services & Watering: If you have plants, or garden beds, our watering services keep them healthy in your absence.
-
-
Egg Collecting: For customers with chickens or other egg-laying animals, we’ll gather your eggs daily, keeping them safe and fresh in a designated area specified by the customer.
We offer flexible scheduling to meet your farm’s unique needs, and we’re always happy to tailor our care services to suit the specific requirements of your animals and garden while you’re away.
🐴 Animal Hauling Services
Whether you’re transporting livestock to a new farm, a veterinarian appointment, or an auction, Feed Queens Farm Service is here to help. Our animal hauling service includes:
-
Safe Transport: We take extra care in securing your animals during transport to ensure their safety and comfort. Our vehicles are equipped with the necessary equipment to accommodate various types of animals, from cows and horses to smaller livestock.
-
Timely Service: We understand the importance of timeliness, whether you’re heading to a sale or need to move your animals quickly for health reasons. We’ll work with you to ensure your animals arrive on time.
-
Animal Comfort: Your animals’ comfort is our priority. We use well-maintained, clean equipment to ensure a smooth, stress-free journey for them. We’ll make regular stops for water and rest as needed during longer trips.
-
Insurance & Liability:
All animals in our care are fully insured during transport. In the unlikely event of loss or damage, while the animal is under our care, we will cover the costs of up to $500 in veterinary care or the base price paid for the animal. However, please note that we do not cover losses or damages that occur due to pre-existing health conditions or illness in the animal (i.e., if the animal is sick or injured when picked up). We highly recommend ensuring that all animals are in good health before transport to avoid any complications. Documentation of the animal's condition will be made as a safeguard for fraudulent claims regarding compensation for loss or vet bills.
🔒 Customer Data & Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. We do not share, sell, or distribute any of your personal information—ever. Any contact details, location information, or order details are used only to carry out the services you’ve requested. We treat your data with the same respect and care that we bring to every service we provide.
📅 Rescheduling, Cancellations, Order Size Changes
We know life on the farm can be unpredictable, and we’re flexible. If you need to reschedule or cancel a service, just let us know as soon as you can. Here’s what you can expect:
-
Rescheduling: No charge for rescheduling as long as we’re notified with reasonable advance notice (preferably 24 hours before your scheduled service).
-
Cancellations under 12 hours: A $15.00 will be applied to cover travel time, preparation, and any other resources already committed to your service.
-
-
Order Size: If your order size changes, be it from a standard size load to a small or an XL load to a large, we will return the difference to you for the pricing of the service so that you’re not having to pay more for less.
⚠️ Injuries Incurred on Customer Property
Feed Queens Farm Service takes every precaution to ensure the safety and well-being of our employees while providing services on your property. However, accidents and injuries can occur despite all efforts to maintain a safe working environment. To protect both our employees and our business, we want to make the following points clear:
-
Customer Liability for Injuries
In the event that an employee of Feed Queens Farm Service is injured while performing services on the customer’s property, the customer assumes full liability for the injury, provided that the injury did not occur due to gross negligence or misconduct on the part of our employees. Our employees are expected to follow all relevant safety protocols and company guidelines during their work.
-
Safety Guidelines
Our employees are trained to follow strict safety procedures, and we take reasonable steps to ensure a hazard-free environment. This includes proper equipment use, protective gear, and clear communication regarding the work environment. We ask that customers ensure that their property is free from known hazards, including but not limited to: uneven terrain, debris, aggressive animals, and any other conditions that could pose a risk to the safety of our staff.
-
Customer Responsibility to Maintain Safe Conditions
As the property owner, you are responsible for ensuring that the environment where our employees work is safe. This includes removing hazards, providing safe access to areas requiring service, and notifying us of any potential risks that could lead to injury. Failure to maintain a safe work environment or to inform us of known dangers may result in liability for any injuries sustained.
-
Notification of Injuries
If an injury does occur, we request immediate notification of the incident, along with details of the circumstances. Feed Queens Farm Service will then coordinate with the necessary insurance providers, medical professionals, and legal authorities, as needed, to handle the situation.
-
Medical Treatment and Insurance Claims
In the event of an injury, our employee will be provided with necessary medical treatment. We maintain comprehensive worker's compensation insurance for our employees, but we ask that the customer’s property insurance covers any additional liabilities that may arise due to unsafe conditions on the property.
By accepting our services, you acknowledge that you understand and agree to assume responsibility for the safety of our employees while they are on your property, as long as they are performing their tasks in accordance with Feed Queens Farm Service’s established safety procedures and guidelines.
📸 Documentation & Safety Protocols
At Feed Queens Farm Service, the safety and well-being of our employees are our top priority. To ensure a secure working environment for our associates and to protect both our business and our customers, we have implemented various documentation and safety protocols, which include the following:
-
Use of Dash Cameras
All vehicles used by Feed Queens Farm Service are equipped with dash cameras (both front and rear-facing) to document the journey and any incidents that may occur while our employees are on the road. These cameras are used exclusively for safety and accountability, to resolve any potential disputes. Footage may be reviewed if an incident occurs but is never shared outside of company personnel or insurance/legal matters when necessary.
-
Use of Body Cameras
Our employees may also wear body cameras during their shifts to further document their interactions and activities while providing services on customer property. This serves to protect both the employee and the customer by ensuring transparency in all exchanges. Footage captured by body cameras is stored securely and used only for legitimate safety and documentation purposes.
-
GPS Location Sharing
For the safety of our associates and to improve service efficiency, we utilize GPS location sharing for our vehicles and, in some cases, for our employees. This allows Feed Queens Farm Service and authorized affiliates to monitor the movement of our staff to ensure they are safe while on the job. GPS data is kept confidential and is only accessible by authorized personnel and affiliates involved in coordinating service operations.
-
Employee Boundaries & No Entry Policy
For the safety of our employees, Feed Queens Farm Service has a strict policy of not entering homes or secluded areas of customer property. Our employees are only authorized to perform services in public, accessible areas or areas that have been clearly defined and approved in advance by the customer. This is to ensure the safety and security of our associates at all times.
Under no circumstances will our employees engage in tasks or enter areas that may pose a risk to their safety or violate company safety guidelines. If additional services or access to private or remote areas is required, we ask that you discuss these needs with us in advance to ensure proper arrangements can be made.
🐕 Safety of Delivery Dogs
At Feed Queens Farm Service, we occasionally have our loyal delivery dogs accompany us on routes. These dogs are an important part of our team, and their safety is of utmost importance. We have strict protocols in place to ensure their well-being, but we also need the cooperation of our customers and the public to maintain a safe environment for them. If you do not wish for the presence of our Delivery Dogs, please select Dog Free Delivery on your booking form.
-
Dogs Remain in Vehicles
Our dogs are never allowed to roam freely while on deliveries. They remain inside our vehicles at all times, safely secured and under our care. They will not be allowed to approach customers’ property, animals, or individuals without prior approval and supervision.
-
Protection Against Injury
While we make every effort to protect our dogs, we understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise. If any animals, people, or circumstances cause harm or injury to our dogs—whether on customer property or during our delivery—we will take legal action. This includes seeking prosecution for any intentional harm or negligence that results in injury or distress to our dogs outside of accidents.
-
Customer Cooperation
We ask that all customers and others present on the property respect our dogs’ presence and allow them to remain safely in the vehicle. Any interactions with our dogs should be avoided unless specifically approved by our employees. If there are concerns about the safety of our dogs during delivery, we encourage customers to notify us in advance so we can take extra precautions.
By agreeing to use Feed Queens Farm Service, you understand and acknowledge that our dogs are protected by these policies and that any injury to them will be taken very seriously, including potential legal action where necessary.
🚨 Mandated Reporters of Animal Cruelty & Abandonment
At Feed Queens Farm Service, we take the welfare of animals very seriously. As mandated reporters to the MDA and ASPCA, we are legally required to report any suspected animal cruelty or abandonment that we encounter while performing our services. If our staff observes any signs of abuse, neglect, or abandonment, we will immediately contact the appropriate authorities, including local animal control or law enforcement. This is to ensure that any animals in need receive the protection and care they deserve. Our employees are trained to recognize signs of abuse or neglect, and we believe it is our duty to act in the best interest of animals in distress, regardless of the situation.
⚖️ Failure to Comply & Legal Action
Feed Queens Farm Service expects all customers to comply with our policies and regulations, which are designed to ensure safety, professionalism, and a positive experience for both our employees and clients. Failure to adhere to our policies may result in immediate termination of service and legal action.
In cases where there is a violation of these policies, including but not limited to safety violations, mistreatment of employees, or non-compliance with service agreements, we may involve law enforcement or other relevant authorities. We reserve the right to take appropriate legal action to protect our business, our employees, and the animals we serve.
